2/20/2017 Interview with Cabrera’s Mayor Jorge Cavoli – Part 1
I had a chance to visit with the current mayor of Cabrera Jorge Cavoli. After a six year leave this is Jorge’s third term serving the town of Cabrera. The www.somethingfeelswrong.com team had the opportunity to pay a long overdue visit to an old friend, sit down together and have a fireside chat discussing several important topics affecting our quaint little town of Cabrera.
I had several questions regarding areas of interest which Jorge was more than willing to share his views. An inspired leader shares his vision on the important role foreigners play in assisting sustainable growth. Jorge understands how essential it is for the relocated to feel safe and secure and thus places a strong emphasis on how he plans to answer the call. While Cabrera continues to be a safe welcoming environment to foreigners Jorge explains his campaigns on keeping it that way.
We continued our chat discussing some of the more pressing issues facing the town of Cabrera. Together we touched on topics such as electric power, the water and the environmental challenges that come with growth. The region is blessed with some of the most beautiful beaches and culture. The intense mountains and valleys along with some of the most unspoiled back country scenery all play vital rolls but according the Jorge that’s not enough if you want sustainability.
Sit back and enjoy part one of an extensive three part interview. For in depth look, deciphering the trending issues we all currently face, be sure to check out the www.somethingfeelswrong.com website and subscribe to both the site and YouTube channel. It’s the easiest way to stay informed.
