4/2/2017 He Discovered his Destination for Expatriation

I recently had the privilege of meeting Dane. While I meet many people, few get mentioned as a privilege to have been met. For me meeting Dane was nothing short of an honor. Why would a guy like me who meets thousands of folks hailing from different parts of the globe refer to meeting Dane as an honor as a privilege? It’s because Dane is well read and therefore truly possesses an open mind. Dane mastered the art of keeping your mind opened to everything but attached to nothing. By practicing this art Dane discovered his destination for expatriation. First by not knowing, Dane remained open minded to everything. I believe that’s what eventually led him to what he desired. A diverse affordable sustainable lifestyle was what he sought but obtaining this by living offshore as an expat was something that his open-mindedness allowed to flow into desire. In other words Dane found a goal. Dane discovered the progressive realization of a worthwhile goal. Funny how that’s almost a textbook definition of what success is. Dane is and always will be successful. Sit back and enjoy one of my favorite interviews to date. This is why I believe success is a subjective term. It’s different for all of us.
