8/9/2016 Meet Doug & Sherrie Part 1 of 2

About two years ago is when we first met Doug and Sherri. Doug is a retired firefighter and before her retiring Sherri was in the field of EMT. We originally met on one of our discovery tours. For several years they’ve been planning their retirement figuring where would suit them best. Over a five year span they’ve either visited or researched the countries of Panama, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Belize and Mexico. With some experience under their belts it really pleased us to hear Doug at the end of his second trip say “It’s been a wonderful experience, much more than I ever dreamed it would be.”  Join us for this two part interview that I’m sure will lend a light on several subjects of interest. We’ll be discussing many of the same subjects our subscribers are grappling with such as:
  • What motivated them to look for an offshore haven?
  • Their interest on stretching their retirement dollars.
  • Craving a more relaxed pace along with a connected municipal.
  • Ditching the rat race for a laid back lifestyle.
  • Seeking a better diet and fresher foods.
  • How a tropical climate was a must, no more winters!
  • Over time how this developed into their plan B
  • Close proximity to their family back on the US.
  •  The struggle of feeling like they’re abandoning their family.
  • Letting an offshore home be part of your insurance plan
  • Sensing a strong shift in the temperament of the people back in the US.
