Both the Something FeelsWrong website and YouTube channel is all about keeping people in the know. Letting the folks know whenever a new endeavor reveals itself we’ll be sure to keep you up to date. With that in mind here’s’ the latest in an ongoing series “the Wise Old Gringo”
Over the years I’ve listened to many folks gripe about how there’s no easy way to travel from Cabrera to Santiago by bus. Well that just may have been greatly simplified. A few months ago a transit company out of Nagua opened which cornered this previously unanswered market. They’re offering direct routes from Nagua to Santiago. These mid-sized busses will be departing every 45 minutes at a cost of 300 Pesos. At today’s exchange of 48.40 Pesos per Dollar comes to 6.20 USD. The trip runs through San Francisco de Macoris and takes about 3 hours. All busses appear to be brand new and feature WIFI and A/C. Keeping you informed, Until next time this is Barry in DR.
This new route bus makes the traveling between Santiago and nagua much easier and faster. I am glad that someone noticed the need and made it happen!
Sure it will assist a lot of folks. On several occasions I’ve heard people complaining about the options when heading out to Santiago. This should make the trip far less of a hassle.
